Padres, Mariners Game to honor Navy SEALs, Army Night Stalker

The San Diego Padres vs. Seattle Mariners game at PETCO Park on the 28th of June will be dedicated in honor of the Navy SEALs and Army Night Stalkers who gave their last full measure of devotion in support of Operation Red Wings. June 28, 2008 marks the 3rd anniversary of Operation Red Wings.

- The Navy's "Leap Frogs" Parachute Demonstration Team will perform a precision jump into Petco park.

- The Leap Frogs will present a Red Wings honorary paddle to the director of the USS MIDWAY museum for permanent display.

- Four US Navy F18's will conduct a honorary fly-over in conjunction with the singing of the National Anthem by Leland Grant

- Former US Navy SEAL, Red Wings Teammate and "Lone Survivor" author Marcus Luttrell will throw out the first pitch.

The non-profit organization First American Military (www.famonline.org) has coordinated with sponsors to fly in over 60 representatives of the families who lost a loved one during Operation Red Wings. Hotel rooms will be provided for the families by the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Marriott; transportation will be provided by Toyota of San Diego and the O'Gara Group; Airfare will be provided by American Airlines and Southwest Airlines.
