Dear Members of the NavySEALs.com Community:

Welcome to our new home!  If you’ve had the opportunity to spend any time at the new site, I’m sure you’ve noticed that we’ve done a lot more than simply upgrade our look.  Rather than just throw up new curtains and a fresh coat of paint, we’ve completely rebuilt NavySEALs.com from the foundation up.  I’d like to take a moment to explain why.

I’ve had the privilege to serve as a Navy SEAL for almost 20 years.  Words fail to capture the profoundly positive impact the Teams have had on my life.  While I recognize that not everyone can become, or even desires to be, a SEAL, I believe the spirit of Navy Special Warfare resides in people from all walks of life.  It lives within those who, despite desperate circumstances, refuse to quit.  It lives within those who never turn their backs on friends or leave teammates behind.  And it lives within those who demand more of themselves than anyone could ever demand of them.  Such people may never wear the Trident, but they embody the SEAL Ethos by which my Teammates and I live every day of our lives.

We rebuilt NavySEALs.com to better serve SEALs-in-training and SEALs-in-spirit.  If you’re interested in a career in Navy Special Warfare, we’ll provide you all the information you need to learn how to join the Navy and compete for a SEAL contract.  If you’ve already made the decision to become a SEAL and are preparing for BUD/S, we’ll be your one-stop shop for all the training resources, gear, and insider info you’ll need to get ready.  If you have no interest in becoming a SEAL, but are looking for one of the most kick-ass workout programs around, look no further than NavySEALs.com (in partnership with U.S. Tactical CrossFit).  Or, if you’re simply a Navy SEAL supporter, grateful for the many sacrifices members of the Special Warfare community make for the cause of freedom, we’ll provide you the means by which to honor our fallen comrades and support their families through the Navy Special Warfare Foundation and Museum.

Simply put, we rebuilt NavySEALs.com to provide you, our community, better service.  That’s our goal, but I recognize we aren’t perfectly positioned yet to deliver the kind of superior service we’ve envisioned.  With the transition to the new web site, there will be bugs to be worked out.  (We find new ones every day.)  But trust me that in very short order, we’ll be delivering the kind of service that exceeds your expectations, as well as our own.

So come on in.  Take a look around.  Kick the tires.  Take advantage of our new features:  the improved forums, blogs, and groups, to name a few.  Let us know what you think.  The quality of our service depends upon the strength of our community.

Kind regards,

Mark Divine,
