Default Ft. Hood, Texas

As some of you may know, there was a shooting at Ft. Hood, Texas, yesterday at about 1:30 C.S.T. The Sec of Defense has asked for one minute of silence at that time in honor of the victims and the defenders who risked their lives to re-establish control of the scene.

Approximately, 12 to 13 people were killed and 30 are hospitalized in stable condition, including the alleged shooter.

No names have been released at this time, other than the alleged shooter.

Please keep the Ft. Hood people in your thoughts.

Thanks
Dan

The families, friends, loved ones and fellow soldiers of those killed and wounded have good thoughts and prayers being sent their way from me.

I hope the female police officer that took the shooter down while being wounded herself makes a full recovery.
