Hey Everybody! I am currently a Freshman in a prestiges prep school. I am always fascinated with who the SEALs are and what they do.

Greetings, Sumgai here (pronounced Some Guy) from Toronto, Canada. I'm a 26-year-old high school dropout (with some college). I've worked in warehouses for the last 10 years and was pretty damn good at it too. At my last company I started rising through the ranks and became an office clerk. Did 2 years of that and HATED IT!

I've always been interested in the military and now I'm seriously considering changing my life's direction to join the Canadian Forces and hopefully be able to try out for JTF2. I'm fairly out of shape at the moment, but I'm working hard on changing that - which is kind of why I'm here. I realize I have a long road of challenges ahead of me (physical fitness being only half the battle), but I am determined nonetheless.

I knew of this site back in mid-2001 when the forum was known as the "COM Shack"(sp?) or "Drop Zone". My username back then was "SASWannabe" and the layout was quite crude given today's internet forum layouts and styles. The thing I liked most about this site (or this site back then) was the frequent history lessons that a particular user gave every now and then - I think their username was "Hoot"; not too sure about that one - about ancient civilizations, mythology and such. I hope I can still find some of that here/now though.

Hello, I am...a member of the Navy currently. I just received orders to go to pre-BUD/s and am looking for as much information as possible. I rarely have physiological reactions to the emotions I feel, but I almost puked when I read that my orders now read "Report No Later Than ddmmmyy" to great lakes for NSW Prep. I'm leaving behind one community in which I'm appreciative to have been a part of, but one I never wish to belong to again. One where PT is a burden, and settling for 'ok' is not uncommon.
I am hoping to join a community that will accept a person who isn't satisfied with just being regular, or normal. Whether or not I'm part of the 30% who make it through this initial part of a lifetime of training, I am proud to be in the company of high caliber men as Navy SEALs. I'm not here looking for a reputation, I'm looking for a place to belong.

Hello! My 15 year old son wants to be a SEAL....so we are here to learn more. He's in swim and waterpolo, very fit and determined.

We hope to meet others to help him make this a reality.

My name's David i am 15years old.
The first time i have seen the Navy Seals in action was on the TV and i was 9years old.
From that moment i was in love...
I'm training for 6years now,I have excelent swimming,fighting,free running skills.I did 4years box,5years swimming,1year free running,1year taekwondo...
Now i'm learning English. I hope i will join the Navy seals in 3years,

But i have a problem,
I live in belgium...
So now is my question,I need just to move to America and get the green card to join the seals?Or do i need the American Nationality too?
