Default WOD Testimonials

The following are Testimonials that were received through emails to NavySEALs.com. -- Ambassador

NSC, I am not sure who I am specifically sending this message to but it is just a general note for the website as a whole. The other day, while doing the workout, 5 RFT: 25 Deadlift (135 lbs.), 50 pushups, 25 KB swings (50 lbs.), 50 situps, I hit a wall at the middle of round two. I am attending the Naval Academy next year and started doing your workouts about a year ago. Anyway, I didn't even think I could complete three of the rounds, and I was pretty pissed off. I started thinking about what you all had said about "Invictus" and all of the other warrior traits. I decided to finish no matter how long it took. It took me exacty an hour and a half (1:30) to finish the workout, but I felt so good after doing it. I am sore as hell today and I have a lacrosse game tonight but your words in the "notes" section of the workouts really helped me out when I needed it. I appreciate the free workouts everyday and the information you all constantly provide.

I took a visit to the Naval Academy last weekend, and both of the midshipmen I stayed with were trying to service select SEALs; they said that the number one thing that they do to get ready for the BUD/S Screener at the Academy is the SEALFit workouts. Just wanted to let you all know that your efforts are helping so many. Thanks so much for all that you do-

As usual, another genius WOD. Did about 20 rounds in all. Lost track of rounds about 5 mins in, but I think 20 is pretty darn close.

58 min. I'm amazed at the progress I've had in the past two months with Navy Seal WOD, in both physical and mental strength. THANK YOU!!!

Adding another WOD Testimonial...

To Whom It May Concern:

Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to post workouts each day. I am a retired U.S. Navy Master EOD tech and I have been performing your workouts or workouts posted on Gymjones for the past year. I have noticed that you recently stepped up the workouts that you post and I am grateful for that. Today, I completed “Curtis P Go To Hell” at 95# for the second time in 30 days and it was indeed Hell! It took me 63 minutes to complete the first time and 58 minutes today. I know the weight is light and the time is a little slow, but I figure not too bad for 50 years old. I would not have even come close to that time if I had not been doing your workouts 6 days per week for the past year.

Keep up the great work.

BB GMCS (DV/PJ) ret.

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009 WOD

Did this dude with a buddy of mine today. Awesome workout, took us about 55 minutes total to finish.

I just wanted to say that I really enjoy these workouts that are "based", however loosely, on actual military operations. It gives me something to think about and motivate me when I'm sucking wind on those burpees w/a weight vest and burning up my grip strength on the farmer's walk. And it makes me feel good and humbled honoring such a great hero, even in such a "feeble" way.

Keep them coming!
