If you are in great shape and highly motivated but you are not sure about your comfortability in the water, I highly reccommend this school. It is great PT and very excellent at getting someone extremely prepared for BUD/s in the water. This is mostly for fleet guys that want to go to BUD/s. I think this school should be a pre-requisite to BUD/s. Even if you dont want to go to BUD/s go to this school. Its a good challenge and very fun. Plus it gets you off your ship for 5 weeks and you get $150/ month for SAR pay.

MATT!!!!!
Hey man!!! did you get that school? I went through in '98. (Class leader of 98-003 on J-ville FL). It was a great school, and I learned a TON about being safe and comfortable in the water. My Class Proctor went on to BUD/S and is on Team 10 in Va Beach now.
Anyway, I hope all is well. E-mail me man. gaijin_1976@yahoo.com
Talk to ya later.

Glenn, whats up man? All is good here. Just biding my time before I can make my return. Trying to do everything possible to ensure my success. I should be going back next June after I return from deployment. You still plan on returning? You never told me you were a rescue swimmer.
FYI, no the school is not for the coast guard.
