A little over a year ago I was offered a job by a local drywalling company. I was quick to take the job it paid better anyway. After I took the job I realized what it involved. I am what my boss calls the "scrapper." What I do is carry sheetrock. I carry it up and down stairs, in the sand, rain, snow, and then usually throw it in an 8' dumpster. As any one who has carried sheetrock is it big and not too light (now im not saying its heavy either). I usually carry as much sheetrock as I can hold and then as I leave the house and go outside I raise it above my head and carry that way to the dumpster. I love this job. I see each new house as a challenge to see how much sheetrock I can carry at a time and how fast I can complete the job. But I still do the 12 weeks to BUD/S workout for Lt. Stew Smith's book to give me a better chance at accomplishing my goal. Just thought I would like to share this incase a high school kid is looking for a good job that is physical.

glad to see you found a job that you find useful. I myself am a delivery driver. The bags of food can get really heavy at times. Other than that, whenever I make a delivery I sprint back to my car lol

hey man i used to do sheetrock and i did exactily what u did too. I carried the stuff out to the dumpster, the only thing i didnt like was all the dust and debree that you breathe in. the best is when you can hit the dumpster from an upstairs window, that makes it go alot quicker. Now i work for a concrete company pouring foundations and footers. Its really hard physical work but i like it. cool stuff man

Heh, I used to work at Target and push carts around for 8 hours straight, I remember everyday trying to set a new record for the amound of carts I could push at a time... 24, lol.

That was a horrible job but I got into shape quick and lost 5 pounds doing it over one summer. Now I work at Best Buy doing nothing strenuous.... Good thing I run and swim.

I used to go to my cart pushing job at Target right form a 2.5 hour wrestling practice... that was not fun... ahh the memories.
