I pulled my groin muscle, and I dont even think it was from runing. Anyways, I really dont wana stop in my PT cause Im doing so good right now. Excited and everything. If i must, how long should I stay off of running, and what should I do to help speed the healing process.

Well, I'm no doctor, but I would suggest not running for at least a couple of days. Depends on if it's eally a pull or a strain or whatever. I suggest putting some ice on it for the first 24 hours, then going and getting some Myoflex or Super Blue from the store and rubbing it on there a few times a day. As I said, I dont know how serious it is, but I've run with a badly sprained muscle before, I just took my time and stretched it out really good (not pulling it, but stretching it, there's a big difference), and then I just kinda eased along. I think it slowed down the healing, but if you're desperate. I hope that helps.

thanks, that helped. Im gonna rub it down with another lotion. Then i'll try running.

lol, thanks for the advice. Ever since then, I do at least 15 mins of stretching before running/swimming
