question on eye sight

like right now if i c blue,green, or red i wouldnt know they exact shade it is, so im saying between those colors i can't tell the shade for the colors green,blue,red.
so im asking would i need some surgury, or a waiver?

I'm unaware of any surgery to correct color blindness, and color blindness is a disqualifier for BUD/S. You should go take a color blind test at your eye doctors.

I to have a color deficency but the true question is how severe is it. Do you mean that You can tell the difference between blue, green and red however see them in a difierent shade than other people. a good test for you would be the Falant lantern test. It uses red green and white. It was designed so people with mild color blindness would be able to be in more fields of training the theory was that they were not a danger to themselves or anyone else because of this. If you can pass the Falant test you can go to BUD/S
