Okay, I searched the forums and there isn't really a straight answer to my question. I'm just starting the warning order, and I'm having trouble doing all the exercises back to back. Is that how they were intended to be done, or should I spread them out more during the day? I've been forced to do that for the last couple days but I was just curious what other people have experienced. Thanks all, and sorry if there's an answer to this question somewhere. I couldn't find it.

Personally I do the pushups inbetween 1 minute rests. But if you can do them as consecutively as possible it keeps the heart rate up and will be more benificial in the long haul. But in the beginning I know just getting the workout done should be priority one. Hope this helps.

When I start the workup after laying off for a week or so, I always get winded pretty bad from doing it. But I dont stick to the plan. I do a lot more pullups than it says, that is one of my strongest points, and I also do everything back to back with only like 20-30 seconds in between. Basically, when I do PT, it usually sucks...

thanks for the replies.. I'll allow a little time between sets, it's like you said, my priority at this stage is completing all the exercises. I can work on cutting time and increasing speed later. good luck,

chris, this is wat u do. there are pullups, pushups, and situps. Interchange the exercises while doing them.

1st set,
Pullups, Situps, Pushups
2nd set
pullups, situps, pushups
3rd set
pullups situps pushups
4th set
etc.....

I'm not up to par with the warning order either, but I've done is made a similar workout only a little bit easier. I can do it straight through. If you can't do the warninog order staraight through try something easier that you can do straight through. You really need to try to keep your heart rate up.

Yeah I get the thing about alternating exercises. I think my problem was that I'm just not used to a strenuous PT routine, and I was trying to jump right into the warning order. I'm going to slow it down next week, and work my way into it. The last thing I'd want is to injure myself before I even make it to basic. It's not like my ship date is anytime soon. Thanks for the advice guys.

I've found that repeating each week twice before moving on allows your body to adjust better.
But still take the 3rd week off of running.
