I was reading in Lt. Stew Smith's fitness book that if you requested to go to the special warfare divison during boot camp you could. Is there more than just a request involved in getting in. Does the Special Warfare Division help quite a bit for a future BUD/S Applicant/Student (physically and mentally)? Thank you very much for your reponse.

No it doesnt really help, but at least they'd be cool about letting you PT more so that would be good. I have a buddy that went through. 1 other guy that he knew of made it. Its all on you bro. Train hard before boot, try not to lose to much at boot then train hard in A-school.
