View Full Version : Post a Member's Profile
To All
Many members of the Board have come to me thru my private email address. The greater amount of these incoming queries are about topics that require a sensitive (private) exchange or a lengthy reply not of great interest to general Forum reading. I am pleased to respond to these queries. However, requesting parties have failed to return after receiving my firm email response. Too, some members have come to me without reflecting their handle. Without a handle I cannot view their Member's Profile. May I ask that those corresponding with me have a Members Profile posted and insert your handle (name) in any query you send me. Your private queries are encouraged. Thank You.

Wazz,
Altough I am not one who has sent you mail, here is my profile. I am 50, was number 052 in the draft lottery for those born in 1952...July or Augst of 1971...had ben admitted to college, and saw no reason not to attend...I did...but in spring of 1973, I did not sign my diferrment notice...I was drafted..."you will report to the induction center located at..." during the process it was discivered that I had a heart condition the preventd me from serving in the milittary...I went back to chasing Chi Os..it was fun. I would have served an done my duty if required, but I was deemed unfit for duty and reclassifie 4-F.
To Stoner, I am well aware of those who served, but not in uniform and am also aware of the 75 yr documents that were signed, but there is no need to denigrate a guy, Wazz who was UDT before there were SEALs and continued to sreve in a capacity that probably involved actions that may be still classified, but his term of service with CIA is not even clpse to being in question. He has documented it with the authenticators and the calling him out is stupid and beneath you...If you gave him a SLIGHTLY more detailed explanation of your service, than you gave me, I believe the two might realize that you have somethings in common.
If neither of you wants to talk to the other, so be it.
For those of you who think I am totally rambling, let me remind you of some of the subject matter of the Church Committee.
Cany either of you tell me much about H. Taylor-Grant?

It was good of you to print out your Bio. It was interesting. However, had there been a need your Bio in your Member Profile would have sufficed my needs. Thank You.
I have asked that members that contact me thru my email address have a Members Profile that I can fall back onto to help me identify them. I receive far too many partial emails, unanswered emails, and emails that appear to have a hidden agenda with the sender.
I have had the pleasure of using my email to respond to membes with sensitive issues that they do not wish exposed in open forum. Just tonight while the first reply was being posted to my request for Member Profiles I was answering a young man who had an issue that was sensitive to him and embarrassing, as he put it. I was able to help him resolve his issue without the exposure to numerous opinions that he stated he did not want. Too, I have been fortunate enough to contact other members on serious issues they do not want exposed in open forum. And my email address is still there for anyone who needs legitimate assistance.
Sorry, I do not know H. Taylor-Grant. I do not follow politics. So I am also behind on the Church committee.
Your 4-F status does not deeter me one ioda. My older brother-in-law was 4-F for WWII. But he was a hero at home for the things he did for his family and for me.
And for your kindness in making a lengthy explination to me I do tell you I signed approx 25 differenet Secrecy Agreements while in the CIA. All directed by Executive Order and Title 10 U.S.C. But they no longer are applicable because the field stations I worked at are now closed. And my 7 years at Hq CIA can be partly viewed on several Web sites and Discovery Channels. But the deeper part of my structure and missions I never speak of. It is not germain to NavySeals.com or any public body.
My Best, and again, Thank You.
