Do you train regularly with special forces from other allied countries, like for instance the Norwegian FSK/MJK or the British SAS/SBS? If so, what are your opinion on the qualities of these units? Are they superior or inferior to you guys?
Cheers,

I am not a SEAL or member of any Special Operation units.. I can say that British SAS and the US. Delta Force, and Navy DevGru(Maritime)are high in comparison, both are counter terroism units, and extremally well trained guys. Come on, I don't think any US. Special Op guy is going to say anyone is superior to him, everyman has to be the best at what he does to get the job done, but I'd definatly say US. Special Operation guys are among the best, they're all good to go.

MJK are the Marine Hunters or as close the Norwegians come to Coastal Rangers.
Amphibs or divers mostly...
FSK are an antiterrorist team and well trained personel at that.
For abit more info that is unclassified go to: Specialoperations.com
Go to international, then look at Skandinavian Special forces..
If you want even more info after reading the entire page there, drop me a mail.
I´m sorry for the slow response to your question but I´m kind of overwhelmed with work right now......Jump school.
Romulus out.

Hey don't worry about getting to my question sooner,I understand people have things they need to do.
Yeah last night I was reading a little bit on the FSK units,it stated they have a really good friendship/relationship and train alot with the British SAS,also stated they train with the Navy SEALs at times(could be wrong, but that's what the site said). Thank you for your information and good luck with jump school.
God Bless.

I think it´s ST2 thats responsible for that part of the world, but this can be answered better by Mark or Doug...
And yeah they do train with SAS/SBS at some occations, I know that for a fact.
good luck with jump school.
Thanks man.
It´s not so difficult, but the pace is fierce.
Romulus out.

Just a minor correction on the role of the FSK: FSK is not(pr.definition) an anti-terrorist team. The task of rescuing hostages, etc is primarily assigned to the so-called "Beredskapstroppen," aka Delta, which is a police-unit.
In particularly serious situations, however, the FSK is known to have provided advice(and in one instance, probably a sniper too) to the Beredskapstroppen.
FSK is trained in particular to re-take oil-rigs which has fallen into the hands of the enemy, be it the Russians or terrorists. They are also trained to carry out reconnaissance missions deep behind enemy lines - as they are doing right now in Afghanistan. Needless to say, the FSK is at its best in arctic enviroments.
Sorry for the slow response, but I've been working my *** off lately.
Cheers,
