I recently had a cousin who was a Seal to pass away. I never knew his ranking (not sure if that is what you call it) until the memorial service held yesterday. Could someone please tell me what HT2 means. Thanks.

HT: Hull Technician. HT2: Hull Technician 2nd Class. Meaning that the Hull Technician was a mid-level journeyman.

A Hull Technician is to a Ship like and ongoing carpenter is to a house. A ship repairman.
