Pre Hell Week you stay in the barracks just off the grinder at NSWC. There is 3 floors and 4 people to each room (2 bunkbeds in each room). There ia a bathroom on each floor where everybody gets to use a multi-fauceted shower. (come to think of it - I didnt shower much when I was there :) ) Anyway after Hell Week, actually, its usually as you go into second phase you move to a nicer barracks down the way. There you have 2 people per room (single beds) and 2 rooms are connected by one bathroom (with a regular bathtub!) They are much less "barracks-looking." But you don't spend much time in the barracks except for the little amount of sleep you get sometimes. And of course sometimes cleaning. But it is not like an open-bay barracks like at boot camp or not like in GI Jane (what a gay movie that was) ;)

Of course this type of **** changes all the time. Now they just might let you sleep out on the beach. *lol*
