Cross-Rating

I am active duty Navy and was just wonder if there was anyone out there that could help me out? I am currntly rated in the aviation community and was wondering if I need to cross rate before I go to BUD/S or if I can wait and do it after I finish. If there are any recruiters or SEAL guys out there that could give me a shout it would be appreiciated.

You are an AO or something like that? I believe that is a source rating that qualifies to go to BUD/S
