ok, i have heard many different sides to this topic, many say that running shoes are better for your feet while others argue that running in boots gets you in better shape for BUD/S, i'm 17 and currently training as best as i can for BUD/S and i wanted to know from you guys which is better, I'm looking to buy either a good pair of running shoes or a pair of Bates 924's, which is better for getting rdy for BUD/S
Thnx in advance guys.

I'm 16 and sign up with the navy in two months on the SEAL contract. running shoes will be more comforatable and will not cause blisters. but in buds you run in the wet sand with boots so if you really want to get better i suggest you run in boots so you can get your feet calloused and you will not have such a problem with bloody blistered feet when you get to buds. i run in boots and it hurts but i think it will be worth it.
