Close Quarters DefenseŽ (CQDŽ), in conjunction with MVM, Inc. has been awarded a federal contract to support overseas initiatives of the U.S. Government. This support involves both mobile and static site security operations. Specific work details will be briefed to those applicants accepted through a selection process requiring stringent personal history review for security clearance approval.
Applicant qualifications should include:
- Protection experience including military special operations or law enforcement special weapons and tactics
- Current or recent Government security clearance
- Three distinct operational task categories for personnel: static security of assets, executive protection, executive protection with special operations background experience
- Mature judgment with specific emphasis on use-of-force discretion
- Ability to work well in a team environment with a diverse group of personnel (military/civilian/foreign nationals) under austere conditions in dangerous working environments
- Ability to work long and erratic hours while living closely with like professionals as a member of a team
- Ability to maintain strict client rules relative to OPSEC following deployments
Applicants selected for work will travel to the east coast for contract required screening and testing. Successful candidates will then need to successfully complete two to four weeks of intense pre-deployment training relevant to the task/mission. The current standard length of deployments, from home departure to home arrival, is 60 days.
