I don't know if you will answer this or not. If you don't, I understand. I saw a special on the discovery channel about
the SEALS, and I saw you guys carrying your weapons in sea water and in rivers, etc. My question is, what do you
do to your rifle before submerging them under water (If anything)? Or do you just clean them well after your mission? Also, in a desert environment, like Iraq, do you lubricate the weapons? Or do you just keep them oil free while in desert conditions?

Weapons are constantly cleaned ad inspected.

Don't think that this has to be answered exclusively by a SEAL. If you've had your weapon submerged in ANY kind of water, the first thing you do when you get out of the water is point the muzzle at the ground and open the breech slightly, to break the air seal and let the water flow OUT of the barrel. I've seen M-16's blow up in the face of the person who was shooting it because they failed to get the water out of the bore. In any kind of wet environment keeping the weapon clean and oiled is necessary. In a dry desert environment which is also sandy and dusty, you don't want a lot of lubrication in the weapon because it will just gum up with the dust and jam your weapon. KEEP YOUR WEAPON IN GOOD SHAPE AND IT WILL KEEP YOU IN GOOD SHAPE. (Provided you can shoot straight)
