i would prefer someone with real SEAL experience to answer this one. i graduated college two years ago and was fortunate to get into camp with the chicago bears. after getting released i played two seasons of arena football. i no longer am interested in pursuing football, rather a career as a SEAL. i've always had an extreme interest in special operations (specifically SEALS) but was to busy with football. my decision now is in large part to the age limit. i know on paper the limit is 28. however, with waivers etc.., i know it can be extended. i'm currently 25 but turn 26 in two months. will i honestly be able to have a legiitimate shots at BUD/s. i've talked with a recruitor and even took my ASVAB, but hell i know recruitors words hold only a certain amount of validity. i train my *** off and am in extremely good shape. the only thing that would keep me from graduating BUD/s, would be an injury, and that comes with a quarantee. i know BUD/s is challenging both mentally and physically, but to be honest, i love gruelling challenges. i love the feeling of running some much you can hardly walk the next morning or waking up feeling like you just got ran over by a truck. sorry for getting a little side-tracked. i just get fired up talkin about this stuff. i have just a few more questions but i'll begin with the above. hopefully i can communicate via e-mail with someone who is/was a SEAL for further information.
