Well im not very educated on this and I noticed that each had a different site. Is the training different and if so what is SWCC. Also are there and other types of Special forces that im not aware of. I do know that for the Master at Arms part anyway they have made mobile security groups that are like the marine MSG's which are basically for security and more like a SWAT team. which is on a more not so high level risk as you SEALS might be on but just like anything else training for that is somewhat a challenge. Well this is a SEALS forum so what i would like is my first couple questions answered sorry about the rest once i get going i can really stop THANKYOU FOR ANY HELP

The training is different. They do have a school, but I've got no idea what it involves. SWCC 'swick' support the SEALs with an assortment specop boats: MK V combat boat; 11meter rib; etc.

Well it doesnt say how long the training is but it was helpful. I wonder if they help support SEALS cause it doesnt say. All it says is they maintain and operate the boats. Right now im in pretty good shape but i dont want to take a chance at it yet. Im leaving for Bootcamp in 2 weeks and then going to Master At Arms school down in lackland AF base. Once i get there i will continue to work out and run etc. Right now where i live it is very difficult to go to the weight room due to the 60plus hours i work landscaping. hmmmmmm basically thats why i joined the navy and figured im still in very good shape since ive only been out of Highschool for a yr. Better late then never i guess

Let me try to clarify some things for you.....
SWCC = Special Warfare Combat Crewman
Operates and maintains the boats used for SEAL Team Operations.
Currently, SWCC is 12 weeks long which covers some SEAL training by the BUD/s instructors. You are trained in cold insertions cold extractions, as well as hot insertions and hot extractions which includes laying down a supressing fire to assist the SEALS.....The difference is, SEALS are trained to handle different situations using different techniques....SWCC or Boatdrivers as they call us, are trained to assist the SEALS. We do not go "in country".....
Soon, SWCC will be extended to 22 weeks long to include jump school as well as SERE school.....
Now, MA "A" school is basically the military police academy.....it's hard, but fun....be aware of the jackrabbits at Lackland AFB.....they're everywhere....
