For specific reasons which I will not discuss here in an open forum - I am very upset with certain people. I will be leaving NSC. FOr those of you who know me, keep in touch via e-mail. I am sorry I can no longer be of any help but I will no longer be visiting the message boards or the chat room. Sorry but I am done. No reasons to sit around and bicker of specifics. Thank you...............

Your contribution to this site has been invaluable, and, while I am in violation of the “do not respond in ‘Ask a SEAL’ rule,” I would like to thank you for your time and energy. I have learned a lot through lurking here and your void will certainly be felt, especially due to your experiences and knowledge that you selflessly shared with us. Thank you for work here at this site, as well as your prior service in our nation's military. Hopefully, you will reconsider your decision; however, even if you choose not to post here, many other Special Operations forums would welcome your prescence.

Man I know we have had our problems in past but we worked that out. I just want to say that i respect u in a way that u might not know. I dont know what happened but im sure u have ur reasons. Stay safe man and maybe ill see you at the Museum reunion. I appreciate everything man. Take it easy.

Thank you for your personal attention to my situation and for taking the time to help me. I can't believe you lasted this long, along with the other BTDTs. Although I have been guilty of poor/redundant questions - this site has gotten out of control. Great information, great resources (SEALs) - just too friendly which enables people to ask any stupid question without doing the research. I am not even sure if that is why you are leaving - guess I am just griping. Wish you the best.

Shocked, I appreciate all the info Sir Doug gave me, but, I will also miss all the "tong lashings" for inapropriate behavior. Always set you staight, allways fair. Sorry if I cause him any trouble, Roadtoad 32000 .
