I'm looking for SEALS that were in Hai Yen RVN in late 70 and early 71 . There was a specific op where the Seals were in heavy contact with a vastly superior sized force of VC-NVA in the wee hours of the morning and a solo SEAWOLF gunship from DET-1 was overhead with no place to go to refuel and wouldn't leave till relieved . With vapors in the tank and a spot next to the SEALS for a final landing spotted , Det-3 finnaly arrived . The SEAL team was safely evacuated back to Hai Yen where the solo SEAWOLF sat waiting --- out of fuel and low on ammo, they never broke the faith. Possible SEAL team members are traced to the names Harry Constance, Bob Gallagher, and a Moran. Any and all help finding these team members would be very much appreciated ----- thank you guys , you were, and are "THE VERY BEST ".

No, not from books. Mike Rush furnished them in hopes that they might be the ones but he doesn't know where they are or if it was even them. I know of no book that wrote of this incident. I would like to talk to them, I am gathering thoughts of that "ride" as I would like to write of this and several other ops we were in on with the SEAL teams that were on "SEAFLOAT/Solid Anchor" as well as some with the Hia Yen boys ------- I was there that night on the right doorgun in the lead ship ---- we never "broke the faith" and we would have stayed until we had to land with the team. NEVER, NEVER leave your buddy !!!! I was there when "Hulk " was hit as well as the day the 5 SEALS were killed in a crash outside of Can Tho --- we had just gotten them out of a HOT firefight at SEAFLOAT --- I miss them all

Before anyone jumps to high on this post, let me say, Mike Rush has one of the best collections of pictures and BARN DANCE cards from the Vietnam era I have ever seen. Ninelives was one of the members of the brotherhood of Seawolves in country and they were always there when needed, if the triple canopy let the call through. ninelives, give the Wolves my regards.

T-Faria, sorry, don't know him --- he isn't on our list of "found Wolves". If he was a wolf, have him slide in on SEAWOLF.ORG and get in touch with the guys. We will be having our next reunion in Charleston S.C. in 11/04 ---- at present , we are getting things confirmed for "Hulk" to be our keynote speaker. we are REALLY looking forward to having someone we supported and knew us inside-out , to be our speaker. You guys are always welcome at our reunions -- if it weren't for the SEALS and the Riverine forces, we would never have existed -- We were PROUD to have been of service .................. I should have added, Mike thinks SEAL "2" , 9th platoon is the one I'm looking for . Any and all help is appreciated . ................. "Sparky", you should have been at Lodi over Memorial weekend ----- 13 skydives and we needed you !! Authenticate, I sent you a pic of Hollow's team on SEAFLOAT .
