I'm 16 years old and in pretty good shape and my dream is to become a Navy SEAL. I'm very athletic and muscular. I'm very good at pushups, pullups, situps, etc. But the area I'm having trouble in is running. I can run 1-2 miles but then my legs become weak. How can I get my legs into shape and be able to run long distances in a decent amount of time.

*Note i am not a SEAL
I had that same problem and i had realy good resaults with the workout (over a minute improvment in my mile in the first 6 weeks, but thats just me) which is on this site (Navy SEALs Workout).
RUNNING SCHEDULE I
WEEKS #1, 2: 2 miles/day, 8:30 pace, M/W/F (6 miles/ week)
WEEK #3: No running. High risk of stress fractures
WEEK #4: 3 miles/day, M/W/F (9 miles/wk)
WEEKS #5, 6: 2/3/4/2 miles, M/Tu/Th/F (11 miles/wk)
WEEKS #7,8: 4/4/5/3 miles, M/Tu/Th/F (16 miles/ wk)
WEEK #9: same as #7,8 (16 miles/ wk)
After you complete that you can go to the catigory II running schedule, which is found here along with the first: http://navyseals.com/community/navyseals/navysealworkout_main.cfm
Hope this helps.
