First of all i want to thank the SEALs that are taking their time to answer our questions and being patient with us. i have a few questions. Im a college soph. and planing on enlisting in like a year or so. im on the pre BUD/S workout. a bunch of my friends want me to lift weights with them. should i stick solely to the program, or will lifting weights be ok? i haven't been lifting weights. Also when at BUD/S do you have time to see family, friends, wife, kids, or girlfriends at all? I know you get weekend, holidays, and evenings off, but is that off of PT so your in the classroom, or are you free to do whatever in that vacinity, or are you free to do whatever the hell you want to do? I plan on being a HM, so when do i take the medic classes? Is it after BUD/S or after everything before im placed on a SEAL team? I wondered for awhile if you could train yourself mentally, and i was told no by some people. I realized that the workout isn't just to get you in shape, it is for you to push yourself past what you THINK you can do. and from what i understand that is what BUD/S is about to an extent. i realized that i need to suck it up and not whine and just do it. cause i have a goal that i will accomplish with it. but, that is what i get out of the workout other then just working out. I will appriciated the answers to the questions that i just asked.
thanks guys
