undoubtedly, this forum is almost exclusively used by seal wives. i would'nt have even heard of this thing if it wasn't for mine. and i pray, for the future of the teams, if they're any current operators who talk shop on this thing. that being said, why the **** do all these disgruntled *******s get on this and write about there **** ty marriages and tai whore experiences. i'm new to this community; certainly i don't know everything, but i do know this: this job sucks for marriages. maybe mine won't last, i hope it does - but it doesn't help when guy's are stereotyping platoon life as some orgy with frog hogs. some guy's wife in your platoon might be reading that **** , so what the **** ? you can talk all you want about your deployment experiences, but when that ship goes down - your goin down alone.
if your marriage didn't work, well tough luck. you know your not going to look for a shoulder to cry on at work, stop *****ing here. for those few of us who have a marriage, your **** ing it up on the homefront.

Sounds to me like the tough luck is the wives. If any wife on here doubts her husband after reading some of the negative comments, than tough luck. If the marriage is strong, than anything read here should have very little affect on the success of said marriage. These wives are not ignorant and have undoubtedly heard of the trials and tribulations of SEAL marriages. If they read stories on here that upset them, and cause some hardship on the homefront, than the doubts were in her head from the get-go. There are plenty of people on this site that enjoy all stories, good or bad. You said your .02, and I added mine.

your **** ing it up on the homefront.

Are you saying a website, and what is being said on a website, is f***ing things up for Team Guys on the homefront? If a wife is bothered by what is shared on a website then there are more problems beneath the surface.

The "It's tough enough, no need to make it tougher" argument just seems like a cop-out to me. It has been proven that marriages survive SEALs, and marriages don't survive SEALs. Never really heard much of the data on marriage survivability due to internet participation.

Also Cil you have no respect for SEALs

Of course I value your opinion Kermit because you have so much knowledge of who I do and do not respect. You are so close to being a positive person that I may mistake you for Tony Robbins.

Guys,

Just ignore Kermitt, the moderators do, he only wants to fuel discontent. Cil and all are welcome to post on here. No one here wants to bicker anymore. We have all said sorry and want to continue in a good mannor. Kermitt doesn't want to see that, he only posts short negative commetns in a sad effort to upset people. I have never seen him post anything nice.

Take care fellas.....................
