Every so often it is necessary to remind folks here. The name of this thread is Ask A SEAL. Alot of the young wannabes want to turn it into chatting andf speculation, all about what they have read in novels and seen on television.

If you are not a REAL SEAL , respond on the General Talk. The reason for this is so that the younger people can get information about SEALs, from SEALs.. If you want to speculate, talk about your guns, or brag about your PT program go to the General Talk Lounge.

All Real SEALs, contact Doug or I and we will verify you to the boards. otherwise we cannot consider your information here valid.

That is a great point bro. We dont have one set-up "specifically," however, please allow me to comment here and now. ALL QUESTION POSTERS READ AND HEED:

We all know that there are "Forbidden Topics" that are not to be discussed on this site at all (such as SEAL Team 6/DevGru, Delta Force, etc.). So we do NOT ask about these topics! Also - if you ask a question and a Real SEAL tells you anything simliar to "No Comment" or will not answer a question - just respect the answer and leave it alone. OPSEC is Operational Security (for those who didnt know) and we will NOT divulge ANY information whatsoever, under ANY circumstances that could even possibly endanger the lives or operational successes of anyone in the Teams (or any part of the military for that matter).

When you are told that your question will not recieve an answer - there is a reason for that. Leave it at that - please! Do not try to continue prying for more information as you would be unsuccessful anyway and will just make you disliked anyway. So basically, a one warning rule is in effect here. If you are told you will get no answer - understand there is a reason and you will get NO answer. Try to understand our position. And thank you all of you for visiting the site - MOST of the users here are good, level-headed people, but there are always a few bad apples which is why posts like this have to be made. Thanks again to all of you good, ripened apples (the majority of all of you). Continue to enjoy utilizing this site to inform yourself! :)

People still dont seem to get the idea, is this such a hard concept to understand? I just read a response to a post and the guy said at first "I'm not a SEAL so I shouldnt post here but..." LOL, I know you frogs are shaking your heads at some of this stuff, thanks for the help and sticking around, hopefully some of these people will understand the rules and regulations around here, take it easy guys.
