I don't have very good vision and heard that you can't become a SEAL unless you have 20/40 one eye, 20/70 in the other or 20/70 and 20/100. Correctable 20/20. I have correctable 20/20 but I still need glasses to see clearly. I hear the Army pays for vison correction for some of there soliders and I was wondering if the Navy does the same thing.

Yes, from what I remember in the SEAL recruiting packet I received from a recruiter, after you complete BUD/S the Navy will send you to receive PRK surgery.

SEALs sometimes over look a lot of stuff but vision is not one of them. Although you can be basically as blind as a bat and join the Rangers as you do see many Rangers with glasses, the SEALs are very strict about vision requirements. How many pictures of SEALs have you seen wearing glasses? Not a one i bet. But if its correctable then its correctable so no big deal right.

If you want to be a SEAL your best bet is to get prk or lasik outside of the navy especially if you dont meet the SEAL requirments other wise you have to be in the "regular"navy were there is a waiting list of up to 2 years depending on your job. BUT if your vision meets the requirments and you make it past BUD's your on the top of the list to get either lasik or prk which ever thay say is best for you.

I told you all this a million times, and now you still ask and answer away with guesses. read my post or the posts I have answered I know more than most on this subject, because I was one of the first guys to get approved for it prior to entering the navy.
