I was surfing the web when I found the wall of shame. I can not believe someone would pose as such and to find some of them at the Vet. Memorial when in fact they didn't even serve. It makes me mad as I am sure it bothers those who are and have served more then it does me. Unfortunately I was unable to serve but I am greatful and respectful to those who have and are serving no matter what branch. My Grandfather was an Edison Raider for the Marines in WWII and instilled the pride and patriotism I have for those who serve and this great Country. As a Law enforcement officer in the State of Maine I would like to offer my services if I can be at all any help in tracking these LOSER'S. I am not certian if this is the right place to offer my services and if it is not I would appreciate it if this was passed on to the right people or if you could tell me who to contact.

Just wanted to tell you that I agree with you 100% and that I think fake/false SEALs dishonor all those who are and ever have served in the SEALs. I also found a phony SEAL the other day he claimed to have done all this stuff and then I busted him when he didn't remember his BUD/S Class number and any members of his SEAL team. He never admitted it but he took USN SEAL off his tag. (I was at stargatesg-1.com and this person claimed to be one).

AJ, and others
I'm with you. When I first saw the wall fo shame I couldn't believe how many scum bags actually try to claim the fame of the few genuine SEALs. I was in the process of reporting a faker in my area and found him already listed. I will be sending more info and pictures soon. (http://www.cyberseals.org/report.htm). He not only claims to be a SEAL but also a wounded Vietnam Vet and infact has sqirmed through the paperwork and recieves compensation for combat related disabilities that never happend. I am a disabled Vietnam Vet. I served with the SEALs on several missions in North Vietnam in 66 and 67. I am not a SEAL and have never claimed to be even tho I ware the SEAL team insignia on my cap from time to time. I ware it in honor of the service they performed and the honor of serving with them. When asked if I am a SEAL I am proud to claim association with my shipmates but never claim to be one of their elite brotherhood. It was a goal of mine to become a SEAL but because of circumstance I unforunatly never got the chance to see if it could have materialized. The war in Vietnam ruined the military future for many men. And women for that matter. I am proud of the recognition the SEALs are recieving now. It has been long over due as has the recognition of those of us that came home from Vietnam and even more so the recognition of those whose names is all that came home and are carved eternally on The Wall. For any one to claim the fame of these warriors both returned and fallen and to be a part the SEAL organization is absurd. To my SEAL brothers, Live Long, Fight Hard and Watch each others backs out there. To all of you that desire to become a SEAL, You cannot follow your dreams to get there you have to leave the dream behind and do this on your own. To all the fakers out there . We got your numbers They all start and end with 'zero'. HOOYAH

If you find any frog-frauds cut off their balls (if they even have any) and kick 'em in the throat.....

fake/false SEALs dishonor all those who are and ever have served in the SEALs.

Fakes are bad but they only dishonor themselves but does not dishonor those already served or serving. Since honor is someting within people can not be given or taken away, it has to be earned and once earned it can not be taken away by someone else unless given up voluntarily by one self
