I have been trying to improve my grip. I always add a wrap of athletic tape to my pull up bar after everday I do pull ups, to increase the diameter of the bar. I was told that this is a good way to improve grip strength. I was curious to the fact if it is a effective way to improve grip strength? I wanted to hear some other suggestions from REAL SEALs not quitters or wannabee's on ways other than the above to improve grip strength. Also how important is grip strength in the SEAL teams? I know you must need to have it to pull yourself up and over the sides of ships and such.
