Does someone have to go through Indoc to be able to class up in BUD/S? For example, if there is an Indoc class starting 14 July this summer, and someone got out of their "A" School on the 14th or within a week of Indoc beginning, would they be allowed to join that Indoc phase, class up at the start of Phase One without going through Indoc, or, would they have to wait until the next Indoc class happened? Thankyou in advance for your answers, and thanks to all the real SEALs that post here and help us wannabes.

Not a chance, get there two weeks early and be sure your dive physical is good before you check in.
You may be able to get NSWC medical to prescreen your record if your in the local and get it to them WAY early.

Bob-
Kevin is NOT a Navy SEAL. His input, advice, comments, and information are NOT endorsed, encouraged, nor are they accepted by this community.
I would pay CLOSE attention to DirkD (he was a BUD/S INSTRUCTOR), Wetwash, Wazz, SealPup, Bullrider, et al. These are guys who've seen the entire program and can answer your questions (as Dirk demonstrates in this thread) much more accurately and effectively...
By the way... GO GIT 'EM HISPEED!!!
sincerely,
southpaw

DirkD and Southpaw, i appreciate your replies. I ignored kevin's response and waited for some people who could reliably answer my question to respond. aparently he doesn't understand this forum is titled "Ask a SEAL." again, i appreciate your responses.

nothin personal kevin24ca, but you're not a SEAL, and this forum is Ask a SEAL. You've disrespected just about everyone on these boards whose opinions or answers matter. You never had any right to stick your head in Ask a SEAL. I would appreciate your not answering any questions I have for a SEAL. This is gonna work out great -- you don't want to answer my questions, and I dont want or care about your answers!

I'm kinda afraid to stick my nose in here. I've been off the boards for a while so I'm not quite sure what all Kevin has said. How far through BUD/S did you get?
