WHEN does SERE come into play? I thought Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape was standard for you guys...

seriously though... what's the deal with SERE?? I thought those were requisite skills... not just for pilots and flight crews getting' smacked from the sky...

Also... FOR EVERYONE>.. don't EVER waste your time watching GI JANE... I walked out on that one... that was simply ridiculous!! (and that, from a guy who's only heard 'stories' about the training that goes on...)

After training and once you are assigned to a Team they will send you to SERE school.. I had the pleasure of going through three different ones.. Stead AFB, Warner Springs and JEST(jungle Escape and Survival Training ) in the PI. JEST school I really thought we were going to gain weight.. The Negritos could find food anywhere...lol
