I was looking through this book today about SEALs, and they had a picture of some BUD/s students doing log PT, and right next to them was a woman sunbathing. My question is, do a lot of people come by and watch the BUD/s students training? It would just seem to me that the intructors would close off that portion of the beach.

lol i seen that pic, it is a Korean UDT/SEAL team training.
The public is allowed to view the training as there are a ot of tourists at the Hotel Del and they spend much time on that beach. Since 9/11, the public can no longer venture on to the Navy side of the beach. they now have a guard there in the sand. *lol* But we did many runs down the public strand of the beach. No the instructors do not "close off" any portions of the beach with the exception of "roping off" the rocks during rock portage (which draws A LOT of spectators) which is obviously for the safety of the tourists...

Thanks a lot for the response....it just seemed weird to look at this picture, seeing a bunch of students running with logs, tired as hell, and then just a woman lyin down with her sunglasses on like nothings happenin.

ELWOOD-
kevin is NOT and NEVER was a Navy SEAL. His advice, comments, suggestions, and guidance are NOT endorsed, encouraged, NOR are they accepted or recognized by this community.
Pay CLOSE attention, however, to the REAL SEALs who come here JUST for this purpose... to answer your questions. THEY are the real deal and have been through the entire program. THEY will be able to offer you the most effective and most accurate advice, suggestions, and recommended courses of action
Best wishes...
