I am trying my hardest to get a seal challenge contract. But I can't because I was expelled from high school 2 weeks into my senior year for having guns n my truck. There two 22. rifles that I left in there, along with other various camping equipment, from a camping trip that I never unpacked from the weekend prior. This was back in September of 2000. I was 17 then, and I am 20 now. This is all on my juvenlie record. I have a couple of misdemeanors also.
Obiously the felonies are holding me back. If I just get my juvenile record sealed and I go back to a recruiter, would he not be able to see the charges and therefore allowing me a SEAL contract? There is a difference between getting my record sealed and getting my record actually expunged. I have talked to a few free consultation lawyers that have said that it is impossible to touch your juvenle record, you can only seal it. Others also stated that when you turn 18 your juvenile record is automatically sealed. I just want and need to do any and everything possible to get my Seal challenge contract. Based on all the **** you see here, what would you say I do?
Obviously I am having a lot of trouble with this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
