i'm 16 almost 17 years old and live in Canada. I've been interested in becomming a Navy SEAL for a long time now and am starting to learn what my actual chances of getting in are as a Canadian. I know you have to have your US citizenship but by the time i get that i'll be too old. If anyone can help me in anyway please post it or email me. I've sent a couple letters to recruiters but it was no good they just gave me a website to look at.
Thanks for any help that you can provide.

Damn, how long does it take to gain US citizenship as a Canadian?

First you have to get legal permanent resident, after that it takes 5 years before you can become neutralized. And with all the administrative works, etc. It will probably take a year longer.
The problem is actually to get legal permanent resident, especially for Candians.
