I am currently on active-duty in the Navy. I am a 38 year old Seabee stationed at NAS Jacksonville. During my 2000 Okinawa deployment I had the great honor to train and work with some members of Team 5 and SBU-12. Since then I have been trying to get my BUDs package or SWCC package past the age barrier. I recently took the SEAL "In" PRT and scored the following: 500yard swim w/boots & BDU pants 11:16, Push-ups 67, Sit-ups 81, Pull-ups 11 and 1.5 mile run w/boots and BDU pants 10:23. I train everyday, including pool work. Is there anyway to get around the age barrier?

Thanks for your help!!!!!

Thanks Wetwash,

I received some info from an operator with Team 4 in Little Creek. He pretty much gave me the same advice. Be persistant, and never give up your dream. Eventually, someone will take an interest!!!

God Bless, you are a real HERO!!!!
