I am currently a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University. For the past 8 years or so I have wanted nothing more than to be a doctor. However, in the past 4 or 5 years I have had an inclining desire to join the Navy in hopes to one day become a part of the most elite force this country has to offer; the SEALS. I have been told that there is a position in the SEAL program for a SEAL doctor if that is what it is. If there is such a thing, I would definitely try to get into the program and hopefully fulfill both dreams. My question is if there actually is such a program or not. If someone could email me back at ekimsurfer@aol.com who knows about such a thing if it even exists I would greatly appreciate it. Preferably someone who has heard of such a position or knows someone directly. It sounds like my calling if it is true. Thanks again.

THE DIVING MEDICAL OFFICERS IN THE TEAMS IS A GREAT JOB FOR DOCTORS. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS TEAM GUYS WHO HAVE GONE ON TO MEDICAL SCHOOL - AND ONE OR TWO WHO HAVE COME BACK TO THE TEAMS AS A DMO. I AM NOT AWARE OF A SEAL DMO BILLET - THOUGH I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY HAVE CREATED ONE FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES. PERHAPS SOME OTHER FROG CAN HELP WITH THIS ONE?
