View Full Version : Pararescue Sniper Fake??

Need to find out if someone was actually a Pararescue Sniper in the Air Force or if he is a fake. Name is Mark McDowell and he is currently in oklahoma and was a coworker. He has been able to show no proof to even being in the air force except for patches which you can get at the Surplus. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks
This is my first post so let me know how I do. I don't know who this indivisual is but I can assure you that there is no such title as a PJ sniper. He might be qualified as a sniper from a different community but you will not recieve any sniper training as a PJ. And if this guy is not a PJ and clams that he is, that is too bad because I know a few PJs that lost their lives saving others. If this person says he is PJ and is it false, that means he dissrespects those real PJs that are out there placing their lives on the line.

PJ's and CCT's do have a semi auto sniper rifle ( the SR-25, 7.62 mm ) in their inventory. They may have the gun, but as far as sniper training and acutally using one on a mission i have never heard of it. Sounds a little fishy, although i suppose not out of the realm of possibility.

I'm pretty sure they can attend the training.. but your best bet would be to ask him something.. such as what was his combat dive class number... or maybe they could help you better on specialtactics.com

here's a clue...
anybody running around town "bragging" about having been a SNIPER... you can be 99.99% sure that they are LYING. Most POSERS will come up with some story about having been a "sniper"... it's one of the most common LIES...
ask the guy for his DD-214... ask him what class he graduated with... see what the guy says...
