If anyone is interested or may have missed earlier shows, the Discovery channel series "On The Inside" will be airing one of the best series to show the making of SEALS on the following dats and times. It was great to see some of the areas where I had a chance to serve with SDV Team One like the old SDV Team One building and LaPosta. Great series if you are interested in what these guys have to endure to become a BUDS graduate.
I got to witness first hand some of the BUDS training and it seemed to me to be every bit as tough as promoted. They are special men.
Jul 7 2002 12:00 PM - Hellweek
For 24 hours a day, six days in a row, students are put through a demanding set of obstacles designed to test their resolve and commitment. Each test is followed by a harder one that pushes the psychological limits of even the toughest men.
Jul 7 2002 1:00 PM - The Only Easy Day was Yesterday
Hellweek"" may be over but training isn't any easier. Underwater testing begins in both the ocean and pool. The men are immersed in technically advanced scuba and re-breather training. Panic and fear in the water are the student's worse enemy."
Jul 7 2002 2:00 PM - The Homestretch
There are two phases left to endure. The physical and mental barriers the men must overcome to become SEALs are the stuff of legend. Until graduation day, those who have made it this far continue to hold out unless they're pushed past their limit.
