My recruiter, today, told me that the Navy doesn't issue SEAL-contracts anymore. That you get the chance to pass the initial physical test at boot camp. And if you do then I guess you're next in line for BUD/S. Anybody else here this or is my recruiter full of **** ?

This information is false, unless it has changed over the past 2 weeks, which I highly doubt. I just got a SEAL Challenge Contract, so they are still offering the it. Get in touch with a SEAL motivator and he will help you out.

I asked this on another post, but didnt get an answer from anybody. Do you get in touch with a motivator through a recruter? Or somewhere else?

Brother, go to the "Career" tab up top, then to "Recruitment" - it lists the SEAL Recruiters/Motivators.

JonnyR is correct. You could look it up from the menu above. Sometimes recruiters don't like to give you the number for a motivator since they feel like the motivator will take you away from them as a recruiter. Just some advice. Good Luck!

My recruiter wouldn't give me the number to a SEAL Motivator untill after I was in DEP. He kept telling me that the SEAL Motivator was away on training and that I could talk to him later once he got back. Once I was in DEP he gave me a number for the SEAL Motivator and once I talked to him, I found out that he was around the whole time and that recruiters dont want to give you the SEAL Motivators number before you join because your a number to them and they dont want to lose your contract. I'd recommend if you want SEAL, join with a Motivator, not a regualr recruiter. If I could do it all over again, I definately would go that route.
