2 man sniper teams in the Teams? I believe being a sniper on a SEAL team is just an extra specialty.

When the enemy starts shooting back you won't think it is so "cool." You become a SEAL to serve your country, not do "cool" stuff.

It all depends on what type of seal you become ............
If you choose to be the furry mammal seal then yes it is cool ...... in fact the ice water is damn right cold, but its ok cause nature issues you with a very nice coat.
On the other hand you could be a watertight seal, in this case it can go either way, on ships there is a high demand for watertight seals, But you could end up as a seal on a toilet ... that would be a very s h i t t y job and not at all cool

Some advice
Your not dealing with your everyday person here. Not some reject out of nowhere. If these people think that they should not answer your question dont get all offended and say silly comments. Trust me, it wont get you far. Id say to you research it and find out what you can that way. Good look little man.

Hmm.. I don't recall saying that I wanted to be a SEAL. Doesn't make me a wannabe....... You are a wannabe, maybe one day you will be a gonne"be"... As of now you are dreaming.

Iam not trying to say taht your heart really isnt in it but at 14 i know that i wanted to be alot of things and now that i look bak on it i really dont want to be any of that.... i have alwasy wanted to be in ther service thought, so as i got older i did alot of sports and stayed in shape so that i could make that part of me dream come true but my advise to you is to do alot more research on th subject look at books.... hehe i know they are a pain in the *** to read but they will help you out emensly....
well that was my two cents :)

Here's what I have to say...
First off I am not a SEAL and never will be (being a chic is a problem) but let me tell you something. I know enough about Navy SEALs to tell you that to be a SEAL you have to want to be one with every part of yourself. You have to be so dedicated, that you don't wish you could become a SEAL, you know you're going to become a SEAL. That takes a lot of doing.
Things to prepare... study hard, get better grades, they will help you in the academic aspects of the SEALs, and if you don't make it, will get you a better job or into a college. Another thing there is a section on this website entitled Navy SEAls. (its one of the tabs on top.) go to it and click on Navy SEALs workout, it will help you prepare for the Physical part of SEALs. I hope I can help you.
Oh yeah and please stop putting the angry face on your posts, it makes people on edge. try just the normal post one...
