Hey guys!
Well I hope everyone is doing well. For those of you who don't know me, I am a 17 yr. old that is planning on joining the navy on the SEAL Challenge contract after high school. The other day my dad came to me and asked me something that really made me think for a long time. He asked the big question..... "So what is it that drives you to be a Navy SEAL, and why do you want to do such a job?" This question made me think for awhile. Right off the top of my head I had no answer for him. The more I think about it, the more I lean towards one conclusion. Joining the SEALs for me has been a long time goal of mine, eversince I was around eight years old believe it or not. Their really is no answer to the question my dad asked.... except the fact that going this path in life just feels like the ONLY path that I would want to go. I was wondering if any SEALs on this site had that same drive when they were facing their future..... Did you guys know exactly what drove you to take the path in life that you did to become America's Elite? Really to me I have no answer, it is just something inside of me that drives me towards this goal, and has been with me eversince a kid. Thanks for taking the time for reading this...... any responses from SEALs would be appreciated.
