Would I have better chances of becoming a US Navy SEAL if i went to college?

No, your best bet is to join the navy and graduate BUDS.

i say go to college first. Education is never a load you carry on your back. you dont need to have a college degree to be a SEAL, but it sure cant hurt to have one. It makes you more of a well rounded person. But it's a personal decision that only you can decide.

I would say go to college first too. Thats the route I took and I feel more mature and better prepared for Buds now then I would have before college. Plus it cant hurt to have a degree. Just my opinion though.
