how long does it take to get BUD/S and tips on holding my breath longer

I talked to a recruiter the other day and she said I can't get to boot camp until September. If I can't get there until then when could I expect to get BUD/S if I sign a SEAL contract.?
One more question- Any tips on being able to hold my breath longer?, I'm having difficulty with the 50 meter underwater swim.

Hey man, aight im leaing to basic on june 25th and i was told that i could be going to fleet for a few months before a BUD/s class opens up, so im not too sure about that. i was told that when you do the 50 meter you should tryswimming along the bottom of the pool and gradually raising your elevation. this tricks your mind in a way because it reduces the pressure. also just do a lot of swimming. hope that was good enough advice.
