I am committed to joining the Navy and getting the SEAL Contract... I had ACL/MCL knee repair surgery 15 years ago.. What can I do to insure that I pass the medical exam? Has anyone heard of someone getting into BUD/S with past knee surgery. Thanks..

I appreciated your response. However, I do have a 5 inch scar on my knee. Someone must know someone who got into BUD/S with knee surgery... thanks..

My right knee has three different scars on it. All from different accidents. They range from a bike crash to putting my knee through a glass window ( long story ). Pretty nice size scars. I told the Doc the same thing. He diden't care. He just tested to make sure I had the proper flexibilty and the knee was strable. I woulden't worry about it.
