Shed some light please!!!

I recently had a debate with my wifes grandfather who was a Navy man. We first talked about the SEALs and he had a lot of respect for them, but when I told him that that my dream and was what I am working toward he proceedes to tell me that they have the highest casualty rate of all the military service in the U.S. I know he is just concerned about his grand-daughter but I did not want to argue with the man. Therefore, any light on the casualty statistics and mabe others would help. Also, if someone knows where to find them that would be nice too. Thanks.

I know of no place that statitics for the current era of caualties is published. Knowing this, I do not believe your wife's Grandfather has a reference that gives his words backing.

there are ten million ways to die so i would worry about how your going to live.
