Has any seals reading this message board ever work with a cct. Are they ggod at what they do? would you consider them hardcore? Do you think that becoming a cct before going to buds will give me a slight advantage? are cct guys respected by seals? Do cct do any kind of direct action mission, recon, and do they learn closed circut scuba? Sorry i have to ask on here because no other web site has any inof on cct. thanx

CCT is an Air Force Special Operations outfit, NOT a Navy one. If you go the CCT route, you will be required to finish a full enlistment in the Air Force, then enlist in the Navy and tryout for BUD/S. In support of our USAF bretheren, but once you go down that road, you will probably want to stick with it. CCT training is a long pipeline, during which you'll develop close bonds with a bunch of motivated guys. You'll find it hard to jump ship and start the whole process over on the Navy side, once you're wearing your maroon beret. Either way, I don't think you'll be disappointed! Hopefully, we have a CCT type or two lurking on the board who will chime in.
