General info PLEASE

I have never served in the military but I am a BIG supporter of the U.S. Armed forces.
I am third generation Irish and a PROUD AMERICAN!!!!! But I have two questions,
if anyone can answer. One: what is jtf2??? Sounds like a SOG team but from what country?
And the second question: I'd like to correspond with folks in the armed forces to show my
support and gratitude for their service. Can anyone help me?? By the way I'd be happy
to give details as to the reason of my lack of service (and convey my TOTAL disappointment
with not serving)

JTF-2, Joint Task Force - 2, a Canadian Special Forces Unit. I beleive it was created in the mid 1990's. Do a google search, you'll find some stuff on it.

Many thanks Lee, as stated I am a HUGE supporter f thour military and am pretty much
"self-taught" on many things military but this one had me stumped. Am going to check them
out to add to my body of knowledge...I can't imagine how they slipped by me though...
but as I am a civie; I guess it's to be expected huh??
