Hello,

I am 17 years old , a senior in highschool. I am preparing to go to devry university for either business, telecomunications or computer engineering technologies. Even though these careers are but a beginning, what I really can honestly say I have that passionate feeling for is the more physical aspects of military operation like activities. I am in extremely well physical shape, I have been training in Martial arts/concept fighting for about three and a half years. Yet I find that Most all military choices, such as, becoming a Navy seal, are too patternized and limited. I would like to know if there is any other branch where one is independent, not relying on extreme team work, but rather working alone. If there is such a choice, i would follow it passionately.

thankyou,

The military is not about the individual, but about the whole. You are not independent, you do not operate on your own. You belong to the military, you serve the United States of America and her citizens.

But, you might want to look into the CIA and change your major in college into international studies or language. And then keep your nose really clean. :) Parts of the CIA operate quite independently.

it is not a physical exercise.

As suggested earlier, CIA might be a good choice, military is not your cup of tea. Too much teamwork, depending on others.

Also might require you to make contact with human beings.
