My one friends dad is a SEAL and when ever people hear that they are like..................holy **** ! It must take lots of hard work and determination. You have to want it.You cant wake up one day and wanna do it and the next day not want to do it.I am only in 10th grade but i will do anything to fulfill my dream.People tell me i cant do it but i tell them to go **** off.But to get to my point i just wanna sk a SEAL like how long it takes to actually start going on missions if say you join the NAVY out of high school.I plan on joining the NAVY out of high school.Another question that i have is that i heard that most SEALS are in the NAVY as a sailor or something first and then they train to become a SEAL.Is that true or do SEALS just start off as SEALS.And that thing on the discovery channel is cool to watch but i am sure there are alot of things that they cant show on camera that go on in BUDS.Well reply if ya feel the need.

hi my name is robbie and even though im not a seal my best friend is one and my dad was also one. if you are thinking of becoming a seal remember if you have to many connections then you are not allowed in and it is very difficult to get in also and no you not start out as a seal but sometimes you can cos if you go in i think they make you pick a course to take and then you take it and then you go to train to be a seal and i think its a good idea but i dont think that you know what your getting youself into find out everything first and i mean everyhting if you wanna talk more email me at johndeereluver@msn.com or sealluver@navyseals.com

For your own edification and education:
Go to the CAREERS tab on this site. Drop down to RECRUITMENT and then click on REQUIREMENTS. A lot of your questions will be answered right there. If you're serious about getting in shape for the SEALs, go to NAVY SEALS tab on this site. Click on the NAVY SEALS WORKOUT and start training. For more info on the exact path from High School to Navy SEAL, try www.navy.mil Read about the SEALs.

If you know exactly what you are getting into, then why are you asking questions?

First of all I'm not a SEAL but if there is one thing common sense and everyone who has ever been through it tells me. "Is no matter how much you have seen on t.v or read you will never know what you are getting into until you are there getting smashed around by the instructors." Think of it can you honsetly say in any of the PT sessions you've had, that they were as hard as its going to be in BUD/S? Have you ever PT'D 16 hours in day basically? Nah I don't think so. All we can all do is get information and work our butts of so that when we get there we hope we are ready. Then again no one is ready. Ever seen or heard of someone who made it as a SEAL that didn't struggle in BUD/S? This is hard for everyone no matter who you are. Just work you butt off and hope that when you get there you can deal with everything that will be thrown at you.
